GEORGE, GARDEN ROUTE - De Plaashuis, (Dutch for The Farmhouse), was built in 1973 in the traditional Cape Dutch style. De Plaashuis is located in an upmarket area but offers a budget facility to make it affordable for all. We are frequented by reps, company workmen, and families due to this and are often used as a one-night stop for groups. Kindly read the description of the unit you chose. As we offer a basic family stay, please do not expect luxury amenities, as we would hate to have you arrive and be disappointed. Our ultimate aim is customer satisfaction, and we offer country hospitality within an affordable environment. The guesthouse is owner managed. For our business people and artisan people traveling so far from home, we have received feedback that it is truly a home away from home.
